We’re thrilled to announce that our December raffle at Oracle Hairdressing raised an incredible £450 for Fear Free Wiltshire, a vital local charity supporting those experiencing domestic violence.

Throughout December, our clients showed tremendous generosity by entering our raffle, which featured some fantastic prizes including GHD hair straighteners, a Varis brush, premium hair products, and festive treats of chocolate and Prosecco. The response exceeded all our expectations, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Why Fear Free Wiltshire?

At Oracle Hairdressing, we’re committed to supporting local charities that make a real difference in our community. When we learned about Fear Free Wiltshire and the essential work they do, they immediately stood out to us as a truly worthy cause. The festive season is a time for celebration, but we recognise it can be an incredibly challenging period for those facing domestic abuse. Every pound raised will help them continue their life-changing work, offering safety, support, and hope to those who need it most.

On Saturday, we gathered for our annual Awards Evening at the beautiful La Flambé restaurant in Sutton Benger — a night filled with laughter, good food, and great company. It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate our incredible team and recognise all the hard work that goes into making Oracle the fantastic salon it is.

Although there could only be one winner in each category, every member of our team truly shines, and we couldn’t be prouder of the dedication and passion they bring every day.

• Retailer of the Year: Katie – taking home the title for the second year running thanks to her exceptional customer care and results.
• Salon Ambassador: Megan – for consistently going above and beyond in her role and representing Oracle with pride.

We also took a moment to appreciate the wonderful men in our lives — the ones who support us behind the scenes and take on “the job they never asked for!” Their encouragement means the world to us.

Last week was all about learning, growth, and inspiration for the Oracle Hairdressing team here in Chippenham. We had not one, but two incredible training sessions designed to elevate both our creative and personal development.

Monday: A Masterclass with Daniel Granger

We kicked off the week with a day of education and creativity as we welcomed multi award-winning hairstylist and E4’s Body Fixers star, Daniel Granger, to Oracle Hairdressing for an exclusive in-salon training session.

Daniel shared his expert knowledge on precision cutting, graduation, and layering techniques, working across long, mid-length, and short hair shapes. The team were inspired by his incredible attention to detail and the way he creates soft, balanced, and beautifully face-framing styles.

By the end of the session, everyone was buzzing with ideas and eager to put their new skills into practice with our clients. A huge thank you to Daniel for such an insightful and inspiring day — we’re already looking forward to your next visit!

Wednesday: Building Confidence with The Resilient Hairdresser

Midweek, we had the pleasure of joining another brilliant workshop led by Hayley Jepson, also known as The Resilient Hairdresser. Hayley is a passionate advocate for mental health and wellbeing in the hairdressing industry, and her workshops never fail to leave us feeling uplifted and empowered.

This session focused on building self-confidence — something every stylist, no matter their experience, can benefit from. Hayley reminded us that confidence isn’t about never having doubts, but about having the tools to overcome them.

We learned practical strategies to help us stay positive, grounded, and self-assured both behind the chair and beyond it. A huge thank you to Hayley for another valuable and motivating session — we’re already putting her tips into practice and can’t wait for the next one!

We are delighted to announce that our apprentice, Izzy, has successfully completed her hairdressing apprenticeship and achieved her qualification.

Throughout her training, Izzy has demonstrated exceptional dedication, professionalism, and resilience. She has consistently worked hard, approached every challenge with a positive attitude, and shown a genuine passion for developing her skills. Her commitment and determination have been truly impressive, and we are very proud of this significant achievement.

Izzy is now available to take appointments on selected services, and we are confident that clients will appreciate the care, skill, and creativity she brings to her work.

Her journey in hairdressing does not stop here. Izzy will continue her professional development and will begin working towards her Level 3 qualification next month. We are excited to support her as she continues to grow and progress in her career.

Please join us in congratulating Izzy on this well-deserved success. We look forward to seeing her develop into an outstanding hairstylist and an invaluable member of our team.
